AMATEUR thespians have brought a little festive cheer to a special youngster.
Northallerton Variety Company has presented a bike to four-year-old Rosie Henry, who suffers from a rare neurological disorder which affects her movement, speech and eating.
Rosie's parents, Diane and Richard, of Romanby, have set up a charity fund to raise the cash she needs to make her life more comfortable.
Members of the company purchased the bike with part of the profits from last year's pantomime, Dick Whittington.
They are now rehearsing for Jack and the Beanstalk, which will be staged at Hambleton Community Centre, from January 27 to February 2.
Advance booking details are available on (01609) 770936.
