Vandals are targeting public buildings in Willington, near Crook, causing hundreds of pounds worth of damage.
In the latest incident, windows were smashed at the Health Centre, in Chapel Street, overnight on Thursday.
In recent months, the Health Centre and the town library have been damaged on several occasions.

LIGHT SHOW: A candlelit procession to the Ireshopeburn Literary Institute, in Weardale, tonight, will follow a festive concert at High Chapel, at 7.30pm. The Weardale Singers and Joyful Noise group will be presenting a programme of 19th Century carols. Tickets at £3 are available from St John's Chapel Post Office, or on (01388) 537534.
PRIZE DRAW: Ticket numbers 1011 and 2932 are still unclaimed from a prize draw at St Francis's Church Christmas fair, at Horndale, Newton Aycliffe. Contact (01325) 316043 to arrange collection. The fair raised £1,117 for church funds.
CAR THEFT: A VW Passat, registration H549 AKL, valued at £500, was stolen from Oak Terrace, West Cornforth, between 10.15am and 11.30am on Thursday.
GOODS STOLEN: A shoplifter stole ten bottles of Beneton perfume, worth £35, from the Savers store in Newton Aycliffe town centre on Thursday, at 1.45pm.
VEHICLE DAMAGE: Thieves smashed the rear windscreen of a Peugeot 405, causing £300 worth of damage, and stole a Goodmans stereo with compact disc changer and two stereo speakers, worth £320, in Grasmere Road, Ferryhill, early on Thursday.
COUNCIL MEETING: The next meeting of Shildon Town Council is on Monday, at 6.30pm, in the council chamber, Civic Hall Square.
TRAILER TAKEN: A flat-bed trailer was stolen from High Grange, between Crook and Bishop Auckland, overnight on Thursday. The grey trailer had been modified to drop down further at the back, with wire mesh ramps fitted to the rear.
GARAGE RAID: An outbuilding and garage have been targeted by thieves in Witton-le-Wear, near Bishop Auckland. A Honda motorcycle was stolen from the outbuilding in Low Road and later found abandoned nearby. A Suzuki motorcycle and a mountain bike were stolen from a garage in nearby Castle View. They were also found abandoned. Both incidents happened overnight on Thursday.
NEW STEWARD: The new steward at Wolsingham Working Men's Club is John Henderson, who previously worked at the Fir Tree, Howden-le-Wear.
DANCE CLASSES: A youth dance club is running at Greenfield Community and Arts Centre, Newton Aycliffe, every Thursday, between 4.45pm and 5.45pm, at a cost of £1 per session.
CAROL CONCERT: Tudhoe Methodist Church hosts a carol concert at Tudhoe Victory Club on Saturday, December 22, at 7pm.
