Police are hunting a man who attacked a young mother yesterday evening.
The man grabbed the 18-year-old woman on the A66 footbridge as she headed towards Ayresome Grange in Middlesbrough with her son in his pushchair at 5.10pm.
He attempted to drag her into a nearby alleyway, but fled after being disturbed by a man out walking his dog.
Police said the woman was left "extremely shocked and upset" by the incident.
The man was described as white, about 30 years old, 5ft 8inches, of medium build with a plump face and stubble on his top lip. He was wearing a black woolly hat, blue jeans, white trainers and a dark green or blue padded jacket with elasticated wrists and waistband, with a purple triangle on the right sleeve. He had dots tattooed on his right hand.
