SECONDARY school pupils have presented a cheque for £300 to their local hospice.
Year seven students at Staindrop Comprehensive School have chosen to support the Butterwick Hospice in Bishop Auckland with money raised from an evening of entertainment at the school.
Magician Danny Hunt, a former pupil, visited the school to perform his Night of Illusion show. Money raised at the event was divided between the Friends of Staindrop School and the Butterwick Hospice.
