HEART attack victim Philip Toms went coast to coast in his efforts to raise money for charity.
Less than a year after his coronary, the Darlington man raised £600 for the British Heart Foundation with his cycle ride from Workington to Wallsend.
He carried out the ride with friends as part of his rehabilitation at Darlington Memorial Hospital.
At the hospitals coronary support group Christmas social event at the Dolphin Centre, Darlington, on Tuesday, he handed over the money to Fiona Turner, the charitys northern regional coordinator.
