AN east Cleveland man has been honoured for his work with an organisation promoting marriage.
Colin Proudler, from Saltburn, has retired after 17 years as chairman of the Cleveland branch of Marriage Care, which offers counselling to married couples.
The Bishop of Middlesbrough, the Right Reverend John Crowley, presented Mr Proudler with a travelling case at a function held in the town's Blue Bell Hotel at the weekend.
