FAMILIAR faces are among the line-up of new health bosses in the region.
Ken Jarrold, chief executive at County Durham and Darlington Health Authority, is the chief executive designate at the new County Durham and Tees Valley Strategic Health Authority.
David Flory, chief executive at Newcastle and North Tyneside Health Authority, is the chief executive designate at the Northumberland, Tyne and Wear Strategic Health Authority.
David Johnson, chief executive of Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, is the chief executive designate at the North and East Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire Strategic Health Authority.
Mike Farrar, chief executive at Tees Health Authority, is the chief executive designate at the South Yorkshire Strategic Health Authority.
At their first meetings in April, the new health authority boards will consider the formal appointment of the chief executive.
Peter Garland, regional director of the Northern and Yorkshire NHS, and the man earmarked to become Leeds-based director of health and social care (North), said: "We have been very fortunate to attract people of such high calibre who will help shape the health services in the North of England."
