Members of the charity Court Endeavour of The Foresters are collecting used postage stamps for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.
The charity is asking people to take the stamps off envelopes and take them to three collection points in the North-East so that they can be recycled to generate cash to help save lives at sea.
The stamps can be sent to 36 Beaumont Hill, Darlington, DL1 3NG, or Safeway, in Westgate, Guisborough, or Newsmarket, 51 Northgate, Hartlepool.
The Foresters is a family membership organisation which raises thousands of pounds for charity each year
