A CHARITY shop is appealing for help from the public to top up its stocks again.
The plea was made by the Help the Aged shop, in Wheelgate, Malton.
"After Christmas I think most charity shops are running low on stock," said manager Julie Marwood. "We would appreciate any clothes or unwanted presents that people are willing to donate. It would be a real help."
The shop has now put up a sign in its front window asking passers-by to give generously.
"If anyone would like to get rid of their old clothes we would love to take them," said Julie.
