An amateur operatic society has issued an urgent appeal for a pianist to help with rehearsals for its forthcoming production.
Spennymoor Amateur Operatic Society is following this year's hugely successful pantomime, Aladdin, by staging the hit musical Annie Get Your Gun, at the town hall, in April.
But the group needs a pianist to play at rehearsals each week leading up to the show and during the week of performances.
Beverley Fishburn will take the title role of Annie for the musical, supported by Malcolm Cooper in the role of her rival and love interest, Frank Butler.
The musical is being produced by Eric Hickson, with Bob Howe as musical director.
Any pianist interested in helping the group can contact Martyn Jones, on 0191-378 9297, or Margaret Eddy, on (01388) 420057.
