YOUNGSTERS have been discovering just why they must say no to drugs at a course at RAF Leeming primary school.
At a graduation ceremony certificates were presented to year five and six pupils who completed the 16-week course called Drug Abuse Resistance Education (Dare).
One lesson per week was given by Ministry of Defence policeman Sean Godfrey and the reigning English ladies over-50s squash champion Faith Sinclair was invited to present the awards.
Alasdair Egerton and Callum Fawcett each received commendations for the essays they wrote.
The course was funded by money from RAF Leeming's charities fund, as well as by money raised by the Friends of the School Association.
To round the ceremony off, the youngsters tucked into a cake baked by the school cook, Val Fielding.
