YOUNGSTERS at Eastbourne Comprehensive School, in Darlington, above, are starring in the musical Grease this week.
Sixty pupils from years seven to 11 have been rehearsing to put the finishing touches to the show, with performances tomorrow, Thursday and Friday. Members of staff will also be performing as session musicians. Karen Pemberton, deputy headteacher at the school, said that it is one of the school's two annual productions. "It's extremely colourful. It's the usual polished performance we have come to expect from the students, many of them are old hands at it now."
Tickets for the shows are available from the school.
