A VILLAGE art group has distributed more than 100 framed pictures throughout the community since gaining a National Lottery grant.
Fishburn Art Group, formed almost three years ago, was awarded £3,500 in the Awards for All programme.
Since then pictures have been sent to doctors' surgeries, community centres, village halls, old people's homes and other places in Fishburn and surrounding villages.
The group is also hoping to become involved with Sedgefield Community College and the new Sedgefield Community Hospital, which could boost membership to 40 or 50 people.
Donations of £300 from the North Eastern Co-op dividend fund and £150 from Sedgefield Borough Council's arts fund, means the group will be able to distribute more work.
Secretary Bob Waller said: "The aim is to broaden our audience, which we are doing by putting our work in those buildings."
The group meets every Monday, from 10am to noon, at Fishburn Youth and Community Centre
