A MAN accused of raping a drunken teenager after she staggered to his house to use the toilet denied the attack yesterday.
Dennis Coleman was said to have pounced on the 14-year-old when she called at his home in Stanley, County Durham, after she had been drinking with friends in nearby woods.
Mr Coleman told a jury at Newcastle Crown Court yesterday that he had allowed the girl and her sister into his home, but thought they were "pests".
The 19-year-old denied raping the girl, but admitted that he had kissed her after she kissed him, despite not being attracted to her.
Mr Coleman, of Kimberley Gardens, Stanley, denies charges of rape, attempted rape and unlawful sexual intercourse with a girl under the age of 16.
The trial continues.
