AN OUTDOOR training centre in North Yorkshire has gone on line with the help of the North East Chamber of Commerce.
Peat Rigg, near Pickering, now has its own web site to tell everybody about the 90 acres of land it sits in and what they can expect from a course at the centre.
The site includes information about the centre in the village of Cropton, the courses it runs and case studies of companies and individuals who have stayed there.
It also includes an on-line booking service.
Run by a new training consortium involving the North East Chamber of Commerce, NETA and Redcar and Cleveland College, the centre is supported by funding from the European Social Fund.
Kevin Wall, Peat Rigg manager, said: "We offer a variety of training and outdoor development courses and this web site will give people a better idea of what is on offer and what they can expect."
Residential courses and outdoor pursuits aim to help young people and adults to develop important work-based skills and can lead to qualifications with the Teesside Regional Open College Network.
Activities ranging from canoeing on the River Esk, to walking on the North York moors as well as a variety of confidence and team-building exercises.
The centre's web site as at www.peatrigg.co.uk.
