TOP-SCORER Gordon Watson remains a doubt for Hartlepool United's clash with Torquay United tomorrow.
But Pool boss Chris Turner is not too concerned and he is confident of goals whoever plays up front against the Gulls.
Should 13-goal Watson fail to make the match at Victoria Park tomorrow, Turner will be able to call on a number of players to fill the void.
Turner said: "We have still got James Coppinger, Anth Lormor, Ritchie Humphreys, Kevin Henderson, Adam Boyd and Jermaine Easter in the squad, so any of them can play up there.
"With that type of squad there's no reason why we should be worried about picking up injuries and we're not.
"Gordon is a great player and hopefully he will be fit, but we have got players capable of coming in and doing a job and that's how it should be."
Turner is already without the suspended Michael Barron tomorrow, but the Victoria Park chief is convinced that Paul Arnison will prove a more than capable deputy.
Barron, who picked up his fifth yellow card at Rushden and Diamonds13 days ago, has been playing right-back in recent months.
Turner said: "To lose your captain is always a blow, but this will only be the third time this season we have lost a player through suspension for bookings.
"That's a good thing and although Micky's influence and leadership on the pitch will be missing, Paul Arnison will come in and do a good job.
"Arnie is not a young lad, he's 24 and he should be able to come straight in and play very well."
When Arnison takes to the field, it will be the first time he has started a match since the 1-0 defeat to Oxford United on October 27.
The former Newcastle United Reserves skipper, who is from Hartlepool, lost his place to summer signing Jon Bass at the start of the season.
Meanwhile, Turner paid tribute to Pool's youth team, who lost 3-2 to Manchester United on Wednesday night.
Only a golden goal separated the sides and Turner said: "It was sickening the way the lads lost it, but to go there and perform like they did was tremendous."
