A PENSIONER has condemned young vandals who are repeatedly damaging her front garden.
Emma Watson, 82, who lives in the Fairfield area of Stockton, said she was "absolutely devastated" after the youngsters pushed down a section of wall and ruined her roses in the attack, which took place on Wednesday night.
It is not the first time Mrs Watson's garden has been targeted - she has had plant containers stolen.
She said: "They have no respect. I enjoy pottering in the garden and have worked hard to get it looking like it is. I have seen girls and boys with nothing else to do just do it for some fun, but it upsets me."
The incidents are being investigated by PC Wayne Bailey, from the Hartburn and Fairfield community police office. He said: "It is just out and out vandalism and I would appeal for anyone who has any information to please get in touch with me."
