PARENTS can find out how to talk to their children about sexual matters at an event next week.
Durham and Chester-le-Street Health Promotion and Durham County Council's community education initiative are holding the event at Bowburn Youth Centre on Tuesday, to coincide with Contraceptive Awareness Week.
Parents will be able to find out what help and resources are available to them, and discuss issues such as contraception and safer sex, in an informal setting.
The event will run from 6.30pm to 8.30pm and free refreshments will be available
