LINDY Electronics has reported strong orders for its new international division, just a month after its launch.
The Middlesbrough business has won orders from a dozen countries.
As well as customers from Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands and Belgium taking advantage of the new service, the Lindy International website has also attracted interest from Iran, Israel, Egypt and Croatia.
Lindy has invested more than £100,000 in the systems required to manage, process, fulfil and distribute export orders for about 1,200 products across the globe, via the www.lindy.com website or its UK-based international sales office.
Managing director Darren Casey is expecting the international division to grow quickly in the coming months.
He said: "There is huge potential in dozens of markets around the world, and we are very pleased to have already begun to tap into this potential in Lindy International's first month
