Motorists faced severe congestion yesterday after an articulated lorry carrying 18 tonnes of frozen pizzas overturned.
The driver was taken to hospital after the accident, on the A59 at Allerton Park, near Knaresborough, North Yorkshire, but his injuries were not serious. The road was closed for about four hours.
