PEOPLE living next to a foot-and-mouth mass burial site have invited Euro MP Stephen Hughes to join them at a meeting with the Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.
Defra officials and people in Tow Law, County Durham, are to meet on the Inkerman site on Wednesday.
The Government refuses to officially close the site and Mr Hughes has taken requests for immediate closure to the European Parliament.
He has been asked to join members of a resident liaison committee at the meeting.
