A POLICE station was among hundreds of sites which fell foul of planning rules last year.
Ripon police station, in North Street, had to remove an unauthorised telecommunications mast and replace it with one of approved design. It was one of almost 500 cases of alleged breaches of planning issues dealt with by Harrogate Borough Council's enforcement and appeals section during the past year.
In his annual report, enforcement and appeals team leader Alistair Wood said it had been a year of non-stop activity and action.
