THE winners of an adult learning scheme have been presented with their prizes.
The Passport to Learning scheme has been running since March last year, and encourages adults across Darlington to take part in a variety of learning opportunities.
Each time a participant takes part in a learning experience, which could be a cultural activity or a training scheme, they have a "passport" stamped and are entered into a quarterly draw.
Linda Moore, the winner of first prize, received £100.
Second and third prize winners, Elizabeth Chambers and Felicity Jameson, received £50 and £25 respectively.
The presentations were made by Peter Rowley, chief executive of Darlington Building Society, at the Tubwell Row branch yesterday.
Passports will be available in the Market Square, Darlington, on May 16, at a promotional event attended by Brookside star Philip Olivier.
