A SCHOOL has raised £2,000 for the Children's Foundation Yellow Brick Road Appeal.
The money was raised by pupils at Polam Hall School, in Darlington, and included donations from the school's production of the Wizard of Oz and sales of badges.
Angela Foster, headteacher at Polam Hall Junior School, said: "We were very pleased to make this donation to such a worthwhile children's charity.
"All the girls enjoyed fundraising for the appeal and our thanks go to parents and friends who supported our efforts on its behalf."
