A HOLIDAY firm hopes to brighten 50 people's prospects by offering them jobs at a fair.
Freedom Direct, which has offices in Newcastle, Sunderland and Durham City, is looking for travel consultants to help customers book holidays advertised on Teletext.
Claire Jensen, training manager, will be at a transport sector jobs fair at Gateshead Jobcentre Plus, in Gateshead High Street, tomorrow.
She said: "Freedom Direct is a bright, lively company. We offer a very competitive basic wage with opportunities to earn up to £30,000."
The fair has been organised by the Employment Service in conjunction with the Tyne and Wear Employer Coalition.
Paul Cuskin, a co-ordinator for the coalition, said: "We will have hundreds of jobs on offer as drivers. We have a lot more besides, including customer service assistants, driving instructors and car park security personnel.
