A COLLECTION of Bing Crosby memorabilia has been sold to fans from as far afield as Australia.
The items, collected over several years by the late John Joyce, of Low Fell, Gateshead, were auctioned at Thomas N Miller auctioneers, in Newcastle, yesterday.
Mr Joyce's son, John junior, waited eight years after he died before deciding to sell the collection. Among the items which once filled a room of Mr Joyce's house were about 3,000 records, signed photographs and items of the screen legend's clothing.
