THE parents of a toddler have complained about the treatment of their son after a fall.
Three-year-old Lewis Madison's parents Paul and Debra, of Stanhope, County Durham, rushed him to Bishop Auckland Hospital when he fell from playing equipment in a fun pub last Thursday.
Mr Madison said yesterday: "We were told his arm was badly bruised and to come back in a week's time."
But after a sleepless night with Lewis crying and unable to get comfortable, his parents took him back to the hospital.
Mr Madison said: "We were then told the arm was broken. We knew something wasn't right."
The couple have now registered a complaint wih the hospital.
A spokesperson for the hospital said: "Mr and Mrs Madison have already contacted us about their concerns. We are sorry that they are unhappy with Lewis's treatment and we are currently looking into what happened."
