RUGBY Union stars have been visiting a Teesside school to promote the game among boys and girls.
The Newcastle Falcons community school scheme visited Egglescliffe School, Eaglescliffe, which is taking part in county and district rugby union tournaments.
The Falcons spent the day holding training sessions with various age groups.
The school has year seven, eight and nine teams competing locally and has also formed a close link with Acklam Rugby Club, where 12 pupils play in the under-13 and 14 teams.
Richard Metcalfe, who is in year 11, has also been invited to train for a week with the Bradford Bulls
