CONCERN is growing for two teenage girls who went missing in the same North-East town last weekend.
Claire Louise Smith, 13, was last seen on Saturday, February 9, when she left her home in the North Road area of Darlington to go swimming.
She is 5ft 9in, medium to large build, with a fresh complexion, blue eyes and blonde shoulder-length hair with pink streaks. On the day she went missing she was wearing a grey denim jacket and jeans, black shoes and a white top with a yellow band. She was carrying a black shoulder bag.
Charlene Stanley, 15, from Darlington's Skerne Park estate, has not been seen since Sunday. She is 5ft 3in, of slim build, with dark brown shoulder-length hair and a fair complexion.
She was wearing a black long-sleeved top, blue and white tracksuit top and blue jeans.
A spokesman for Darlington police said: "We just want them, or anybody who knows them, to contact their family, just to say they are all right."
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Darlington police on (01325) 467681.
