A DESIGN for an art train which it is hoped will make art more accessible to everyone could spell success for a North-East man.
Kong Hoang, 22, of Marlsford Grove, Middlesbrough, who is studying interior design at the Hull School of Architecture, is one of ten designers to have been shortlisted in the Royal Society of Arts Student Design Awards.
The competition brief was to create an art train - three standard railway coaches that can be attached to any train and taken to any part of the UK.
Kong will travel to London on Friday for an interview at which he will talk about his design and show his portfolio.
The awards will be presented, in London, in May.
