STUDENTS at the Hartlepool College of Further Education were honoured during the annual celebration of achievement evening.
Hartlepool MP Peter Mandelson was guest of honour at the ceremony, which recognised academic achievement and outstanding contribution to the college and community.
During his address, Mr Mandelson paid tribute to "the utterly professional way the college is run".
Mr Mandelson handed awards to more than 70 students, including student of the year Barbara Crosbie.
