WORK to treble the size of White Rose Books in Thirsk's Market Place is expected to be complete by the end of next month.
Over the past months, workmen have been busy demolishing cottages behind the book shop and rebuilding the extensions for a children's area, enlarged local history area, a gift section and coffee bar.
Owner Sue Lake said: "Readers will be able to browse through books of their choice before purchasing, whilst enjoying a coffee and we will be able to specialise as we have never done before.
