WILDLIFE crime specialists are holding a seminar in Durham this week.
The event, at Durham police headquarters at Aykley Heads, on Thursday, has been organised by the police and Durham Wildlife Trust.
More than 30 delegates are expected to attend. The guest speakers will include Graham Elliott, of the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, and Noel Jackson, of the Durham Bat Group.
Durham Police's wildlife liaison officer, chief inspector Graham Rankin, said: "It provides an opportunity for all the agencies, whose common goal is to protect wildlife, to share their expertise."
