AN appeal has been renewed for two teenage girls missing from their Darlington homes to get in touch with their families.
Claire Louise Smith, 13, has been missing since Saturday, February 9, and Charlene Stanley, 15, has not been seen since the following day.
Police say there is nothing to link their disappearances.
Claire left her home in the North Road area of town to go swimming.
She is 5ft 9in tall, of medium to large build, with a fresh complexion, blue eyes and blonde, shoulder-length hair with pink streaks.
On the day she went missing, she was wearing a grey denim jacket and jeans, black shoes and a white top with a yellow band. She was carrying a black shoulder bag.
Charlene, who lives on the Skerne Park estate, is 5ft 3in tall, of slim build, with dark brown shoulder-length hair and a fair complexion. She was wearing a black long-sleeved top, blue and white tracksuit top and blue jeans.
Police want the girls to get in touch with them or their families, or anybody who has any information about their whereabouts to telephone Darlington police station on (01325) 467681.
