A MUSEUM is launching a musical initiative with a concert.
Music at the Bowes Museum, Barnard Castle, will begin at 1pm on Sunday with a programme featuring the award-winning Cadenza male voice choir, from Edinburgh, and a solo by Spanish guitarist Josep Henriquez.
The initiative has been developed by a steering group, supported by the museum's Friends, which aims to bring fresh and varied musical events to the venue.
Mr Henriquez will also be giving a guitar masterclass later in the day.
Future events in the programme include a piano recital by Martin Cousin, a semi-finalist in the World Piano Competition.
Tickets for Sunday are available from the venue.
To book for the masterclass, telephone (01833) 690655, or for details about future events, call (01833) 690606.
