TWO teenage girls were attacked by two women as they waited at a bus station, a court heard yesterday.
The 17-year-olds were were punched, kicked and bitten by Michelle Heron, 21, and Pauline Carty, 22, at Park Lane bus station, Sunderland, on July 10 last year.
At Newcastle Crown Court, Heron, of Violet Close, Walker, Newcastle, and Carty, of Courtfield Road, also Walker, were given two-year community rehabilitation orders.
Carty admitted affray, assault and separate charges. Heron admitted affray at the bus station and a separate charge of affray at a house in Benwell, Newcastle.
