AN artist is appealing for local people to give a phone view of Saltburn.
Jane Gower, from County Durham, wants to hear from people who live or work in the east Cleveland seaside town, who will give a description of a favourite view from a window in the town for a forthcoming exhibition - by picking up their telephone.
By using the views of local people, the artist then hopes to piece together a visual and personal insight to life in the town. The anonymous conversations will be included as part of an exhibition opening at the gallery on March 22.
