MUSIC lovers are being asked to help a group of youngsters working on a production of a famous show.
The Flying Ducks Youth Theatre Group, of Haxby and Wigginton, near York, need a jukebox for their version of West Side Story.
An authentic 1950s music-maker is seen as the ideal prop to fill out an already impressive set at the Joseph Rowntree Theatre.
Director and set designer Stephen Outhwaite said: "We can recreate many aspects of the New York cityscape, but a jukebox would be the finishing touch, and there is nothing like the real thing."
The show will be staged from March 21 to 23, with performances at 7.30pm and a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm. Anyone who can help out is asked to contact Mr Outhwaite, on (01904) 761806.
