A COUPLE'S wedding album was stolen from their new home before they had even seen the photographs.
Justin Appleby broke into the newlyweds' house, in Seaham, County Durham, while they were on honeymoon.
Durham Crown Court heard that the album was delivered to the house, in Yarmouth Close, before they came back from the honeymoon.
Chris Williamson, prosecuting, said that on their return they discovered that a Playstation, games, and other property, with a value of £930, were also missing.
Appleby also stole electric drills, which were worth about £1,000, and cash from two units on Seaham Grange Industrial Estate.
He was arrested after police saw him acting suspiciously near an ice cream van, in December.
Mr Williamson added that two of the offences were committed after he had been released on bail for previous crimes.
Lorraine Mustard, for Appleby, said the "common thread" in his offending was the need to raise money for his heroin addiction.
Appleby, 23, of Ambleside Avenue, Seaham, admitted two charges of burglary, theft and going equipped for theft.
He was jailed for 22 months.
