A locomotive is to be displayed on a Teesside roundabout from this weekend.
The reminder of the town's railway heritage, which has undergone a restoration programme, will be lifted into position using a 90-tonne, 34 metre-high crane.
Locomotive No 16 was built by Head Wrightson, in Thornaby, during the 1870s and was one of two based at Seaham Harbour until the 1960s.
It was stored at Preston Park, Eaglescliffe, for a number of years before locomotive enthusiast Steve Pickthall, of BO Cats at Seal Sands, carried out the restoration.
It will now take pride of place on one of Stockton's busiest roundabouts, at the junction of Riverside and Bridge Road.
The crane will lift it into place at 7.30am on Sunday
