CHILDREN were introduced to an astronaut on work experience, a monster and a robot when Magic Carpet Theatre performed Moon Magic at the Hambleton Community Centre in Northallerton.
The interactive show, with an educational message, mixed fun with learning - with a touch of magic, which even saw one brave volunteer sawn in half.
Once the production was complete, the cast - including Captain Marshmallow - taught children some of their own tricks, as well as the all important art of taking a bow.
"We have been delighted with the interest shown," said centre assistant manager, Richard Boucher. "We aim to build on the success of the past few shows by booking more theatre companies to entertain local children. We always survey our audiences to find out what types of theatre they would like to see."
