Middlesbrough's eight-game unbeaten run was ended at West Ham on Saturday - ending any hopes Steve McClaren's men had of climbing into the top ten for the first time this season.

The 75th minute strike from Frederic Kanoute was enough to earn the Hammers all three points at Upton Park.

Boro's misery was complete in the 89th minute when Ugo Ehiogu was sent off for a second bookable offence for a foul on Vladimir Labant.
