A NORTH-EAST construction firm is celebrating several new contracts worth more than £16m.
Clugston, which is based in Washington, Wearside, is building a Morrisons supermarket in Redcar and has won two more contracts from Sunderland City Council.
In Sunderland, the firm will build a community facility at the Hetton Centre, and refurbish and extend the Springwell Dene special school.
In North Yorkshire, it is to design and build a boarding house for girls at St Aiden's House, part of Ampleforth, one of the leading private schools in the North.
The firm is also tipped to win an £8m contract to build a community hospital in Sedgefield, County Durham
