IT may be only temporary but children from one North Yorkshire school have been getting used to a light and airy classroom.
Infants at Pickering are waiting for a new classroom to be built but for now, they have moved into a recently-completed conservatory.
"The conservatory was built to house our library,'' said headteacher, June Young.
"However, in January, we had a surge of children joining the school and we needed a bigger room, so this is being used until the new classroom is built.
"The children seem very comfortable in there and they are using it for arts and crafts.''
Work on the new classroom is expected to start soon
