A CHILDREN'S charity is looking for volunteers to take part in a ten-pin bowling challenge in Teesside.
Teams of six to eight players are needed to take part in the sponsored bowling event, to help raise funds for UK children's charity National Children's Homes (NCH).
It also aims to raise awareness of the charity's Community Placement North-East project, which is a specialist foster care service finding homes for young people aged from 11 to 17 with "challenging" behaviour.
The sponsored bowl starts at 7.30pm on Wednesday, April 24, at the Hollywood Bowl, Teesside Park.
The cost is £10 per person, of which £2 will go to the charity's new scheme.
There will be prizes for winners and losers, and those who raise £60 or more in sponsor money will have their £10 entry fee refunded.
A prize will also be awarded for the person who raises the most sponsor money.
To take part in the bowling night call Linda McDonald, on (01325) 308180.
