THIEVES who stole a joiner's van containing a host of tools will have a hard time selling their loot thanks to self-employed labourer Kenneth Pacey's security consciousness.
The carpenter and joiner, from East Layton, in North Yorkshire, had many of his tools engraved with the words: "Stolen from Kenneth Pacey."
And all the tools feature his postcode.
Thieves made off with his white J-registered Leyland Daff LDV van, on Saturday afternoon from the B&Q car park, behind North Road, in Darlington.
The van was later used in a burglary in the town and has since been recovered by police.
Anybody who has any information is asked to contact Darlington police, on (01325) 467681, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
