RICHMOND Dales swimmer Calum Clark won all six events he entered with personal best times at the Northumberland and Durham County Championships event at the Dolphin centre in Darlington last weekend.

His performance was the highlight of an excellent start to the championships by the club, with 38 individual entries producing 26 personal best times.

Anthony Burke also swam well, recording five personal bests and finishing in the top six in four strokes.

Janine Phillips won her heat and took 3.4 seconds off her 100m breaststroke time to finish third overall.

Competing in the championships for the first time, Catherine Henderson, Charlotte Galvin, Alec Wann and Adam Scott all swam well.
