AN acclaimed film director and writer will visit Darlington's Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College next week to talk to students.
Murray Martin, best known for his 1993 film Eden Valley, which was set in the region, will talk to second year A-level media students on Wednesday about how he created the film, and give them an insight into the film industry.
Mark Dixon, head of media at the college, said: "It is fabulous for the students to meet such an acclaimed writer/director.
"It's a real coup for the college and I hope it will inspire the students."
