POINT-TO-POINTING resumes in Yorkshire on Sunday with the West of Yore meeting at Hornby Castle, first race 12.30.
The course is reported to be in excellent condition and the meeting has attracted a record 164 entries.
The feature of a seven-race card is the mixed open, which has attracted 30 entries. For Cathal, Just Jake and Colonel Blazer look the pick.
Of the 36 entered in the restricted, Step Lively looks the one to beat.
Meanwhile, at the Burton point-to-point held at Market Rasen last Sunday, the Nicky Tinkler-ridden Just Jake was the impressive winner of the confined.
Freyer Hartley's Temple Garth finished strongly to take third in the ladies open, while the Ginty Monteith-trained Gymcrack Gorgeous, ridden by David Thomas, finished second in the first division of the restricted.
In the second division, the Mary Sowersby-trained Gunmetal, partnered by Stephen Charlton, was the 25-1 winner. Pam Wright's C L B Jemilla finished second in this race under Fiona Needham.
In the first maiden, the Gill Walford-trained Golden Rivet finished second under Mark Walford.
In the third division, the Annabelle Armitage-trained Geomar finished third, as did Mighty Rising, ridden by Chris Cundall, in the fifth division.
