VISITORS to a shopping centre were treated to the unexpected sight of a "fight" when they were confronted by a boxing match set to music.
Golden Boy - a play being presented at Middlesbrough Theatre - centres on the dilemma of a young boxer who is torn between his love of boxing and his love of music. The cast decided to promote their production in the Cleveland Centre, Middlesbrough, with a sequence from the play - a slow motion boxing match set to violin music by Saint-Saens.
Standing by were members of the Wellington Boxing Club - whose president is centre manager David Ward - to help with the sport's finer points.
The play's last performance takes place at 7.30pm tonight. Contact the box office on (01642) 815181.
